I’ll walk to the moon
and then to the stars near by
then to the lake holding the reflection
of both, to ask…
did you find me important?
I will run down with the river
and then evaporate in the sky
to be sheltered in embrace of rocks
again, to solicit…
did you find me kind?
I will dissipate in thin air
and then become the mist of highs
to be retained on the surface just for a night
to inquire,
did you find me alight?
I’ll dance in the ocean
and then crusade with the tides,
then fall like a color of her
unfathomable eyes, to probe,
did you find me potent?
I will fall like a dry leaf
and then decorate the pass by
to be known as a reminder for days
too nigh, asking
did you find me bright?
I will mix with the dust
and then sparkle as a war cry
to be echoed forever among the dead and
alive, to examine,
did you find me polite?
I will burn with a cold fire
and then settle as a crimson dye
then rise as a phoenix again in heart and
mind, to pose,
did you find me latent?
What would I not do, to be with you,
to constantly remain in your sight…
Yet from the peaks of the mountains
to the lakes beside the valleys,
from deepest troughs in existence,
to highest man-made baileys…
I remain invisible to you…
I remain unnoticed – unfelt.
I still linger around waiting,
like future sure happening,
for the moment when you’d come
and respond…
“I’m too yours, like your’re mine.
The answer was all in front… all this time.”
– Dedicated to love and truth that exists but yet remains invisible…

I adore the strong creative powerful imagery you have created here. Moreover, the mystic behind it delights and excites me. Great use of this beautiful art!!
Profound.
Iqbal ney kaha tha na k;
Do aalam sey kerti hai begaana dil ko,
Ajab cheez hai Lazzat-e-Aashnai!
Is poem mein bhi woh hi rang nazar aa raha hai. :’)
It’s absolutely brilliant.
Soothing and tender.
And..
I am at a loss for words here..
good writing…………
Beautifully written!
my dear brother, i’ve no idea who you penned that for. but for my money, you have been found exactly everything you ask. my deepest admiration an respect as always. bob
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought, once uttered, is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard…
take in their song and speak no word.
— Fyodor Tyutchev, Silentium
Once again you have written a masterpiece and once again words have failed me.
“I’ll dance in the ocean
and then crusade with the tides, ..”
For some insane reason, I loved these lines the most ~
Very beautiful…a superbly structured visual poem.
